Advanced Trade Management - Stop Loss

Dear Upstox team,

I would like to see some Stop Loss related trade management features for Trade from Chart that would be immensely useful for fast paced trading. I trade F&O with US based brokers (Tradovate) who currently offer some of these:-

  1. Buy/Sell market + Stop loss: Currently this feature is not available for Trade from Chart. Even from the marketwatch, it does not work properly in a dynamic manner if I want to set Stop Loss at a defined percentage from entry price

  2. Auto trail: Provides the ability to move the Stop Loss to a predefined percentage from CMP and trail it a a defined frequency once the CMP has moved a certain percentage away from the entry price (called as the profit trigger). e.g., letā€™s say I buy at 100 with SL at 99, and set the profit trigger at 0.5% with auto trail SL set to 0.3% and a frequency of 2 ticks. When price hits 100*(1+0.5%) that is 100.5, the SL will be relocated automatically to 100*(1+0.5%)*(1-0.3%) and will trail the CMP at 2 ticks frequency

Please note that we have GTT and GTT with TSL as well. We encourage you to please try that and give your valuable feedback on that.
