Nominations in mutual fund

hi team UCC CJ3989
I am investing on tata mutual funds via upstox
i got mail from tata mutual fund today that i havent registered any nominee
if i am not wrong demat based mutual fund dont need separate nominee, i have already added nominee in upstox
and one of my family member got mail that they have opted out of nominations even though they have added nominee in upstox

Please note that mutual funds in demat mode use the nominee information provided in your Upstox account. The communication you received from Tata Mutual Fund is a general notice and can be ignored, as the nomination details in your demat account will apply to all your mutual fund units. If your family member also has their mutual funds in demat mode, the same applies to them.
