How do I add a New Bank Account to my Trading Account?

To change/add a new bank account on Upstox visit our web portal pro.upstox.com or the new Upstox app & follow the steps below.

Step 1: Login to the Upstox app using your 6-digit PIN or Biometrics.

Step 2: Click on ‘Account’ at the bottom of the screen

Step 3: Click on ‘My Account’

Step 4: Click on ‘Profile’

Step 5: Click ‘My bank details’ under ‘Profile’. You will be redirected to the ‘Bank details’ page.

Step 6: Click the ‘Add new bank’ button.

Step 7: Now fill in your new account details:

  • Account Type
  • IFSC Code
  • Bank Account Number

Step 8: Now, if you wish to mark this account as your primary account linked to Upstox, enable the toggle next to ‘Mark this as my Primary bank account’ and click ‘Continue’. The primary bank account linked to Upstox is the account where any withdrawals will get credited.

Step 9: To complete the process, upload your bank proof

Step 10: Lastly, eSign your document by clicking on ‘eSign (Recommended)’. This can be done only if your Aadhaar is linked to a mobile number.

  • You will now be redirected to the eSign confirmation page, here click on ‘Continue with eSign’

  • Then you will be redirected to validate the eSign. Click on ‘ESIGN NOW’.

  • Now you will be redirected to the confirmation page, where you have to click on the checkbox and accept the ‘Terms of service’ and click on ‘Submit’

  • After clicking on ‘Submit’ you will be redirected to the NSDL website where you need to enter your Aadhaar number and tick on the checkbox, also click on ‘Send OTP’.

  • You will receive an OTP on the Aadhaar linked mobile number.

  • Enter the OTP and click ‘Verify OTP’.

  • Once you verify the OTP, you will be able to view the ‘Signed Successfully’ confirmation page. Do not close the window, it will close automatically.
