Discrepancy in Mutual Fund Holdings – Missing Funds and Reduced Quantities

I am writing to report a discrepancy in my mutual fund portfolio linked to my demat account. I have purchased multiple mutual funds for last 8 years; however, I noticed that:

  1. Some of the mutual funds I purchased are not visible in the mutual fund portfolio section.
  2. For a few funds that are visible, the quantity shown is lower than the actual units purchased.

These discrepancies are concerning, and I request a detailed investigation into the issue. Are anyone facing same issues?

I already raised ticket with Id: 9378735. It has not been not resolved yet. So confirming that am I one only facing this issue or everyone.

Same here. Facing the same issue, raised the ticket but no response yet. Upstox support seems really slow. I’ve been using this platform from last 7 years with a blind trust

I have been also using Upstox for last 7-8 years. Support response is not positive, team are also not looking it seriously.

Instead of focusing on core services like these, they are busy in providing Loan & Insurance.

Basic MF Services like STP, SWP are missing.

Applied for Easiest just because of this reason, but not even approving trusted account, while in Zerodha and other brokers its maximum 24 hours.

Just opened Upstox insurance once, have been spamed by upstox for a week and now here no any proactive action or response.

Yes, I too facing this issue on 19-Jun-25.
Some MF in my portfolio are missing and some are having lesser units totalling to 4 lakhs lesser than usual, raised a ticket but no reply for past 3-4 hours

I verified in cdsl easy and I could see the MF units correctly. Hence it looks like a bug from upstox side or may be some fraud brewing ???
Looking like un-reliable and un-dependable for long term

@Ushnota – Based on this conversation, it appears to be a critical issue on your platform and faced by many users. It should be treated as a high-priority matter and resolved promptly. Incidents like these raise serious trust concerns with the Upstox platform. Personally, this experience has made me reconsider whether to continue my mutual fund investments with Upstox. Had the issue been resolved on the same day, I wouldn’t have had any doubts. However, delays like this create uncertainty and risk for investors using the platform.

Yes but to redeem those fund it requires to appear on upstox platform. If its not visible, then I can’t redeem as well.

It’s been over 48 hours now, since I raised my ticket. I guess complaining to SEBI and CDSL is the best option.
