Charts are lagging / Freezing

IMG_0042

I’m currently using other trading platform. But I’ve tried to use Upstox many times. But always failed to use it cos it lags and freezes in my browser on my laptop.
Tried again today but again it has the same issue. Tried all the troubleshooting methods but it doesn’t work.

The only time it functions normal is when I refresh and that too only for a short while. Then again it starts to lag after a while.
Attaching a gif to show it.

The crosshairs don’t function normally and the time shown bellies in Upstox also freezes for a couple of seconds.

Please see to it and help me.

Hi @ImPossible,

Welcome to the Upstox Community!

We are aware that some users are facing this issue. Rest assured, we are already working into it to improve the experience. We appreciate your patience.

Hi.

I’ve sent the screen record details showing the problem I’m facing through mail as requested.

It seems to me that the Upstox site is consuming 100 cpu (probably 100% of a core) just in few minutes. (Can be checked by opening browser task manager by clicking Shift + Esc key)

Attaching screenshot of the same. I could be wrong. I so badly wanted to experience Upstox TBT data

Someone find a solution please.

Hi @ImPossible,

This seems to be a memory issue. We’re continuously working to enhance the performance of our app, ensuring a smoother experience, especially for users on lower-end devices. Thank you for your patience.

So you mean to say that I can’t use Upstox on my Edge/Chrome browser on my ASUS laptop with 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U Processor 1.6 GHz (6MB Cache, up to 3.4 GHz, 4
Cores, 8 Threads) with 16 Gb of DDR4 RAM on a 256 Gb ssd running Windows 10 OS and additional 1 TB storage as hard disk with a dedicated nvidia GeForce MX130 GDDR5 2GB VRAM ?

Asking this so that I’d understand that my system configuration doesn’t meet your minimum requirements and I’d think of myself as a user with a lower end device as you’ve pointed out and probably stop trying to access Upstox in this present system until I get a better system config or Upstox gets optimised for similar lower end devices

Kindly confirm.

TIA

Hi @ImPossible,

This issue mostly arises from memory being fully utilised, regardless of the system’s configuration. We’re actively working on a solution to enhance the experience. Improvements are expected on TV by the end of December and on Pro Web by the end of January.

Thanks for the reply @Ushnota

“Memory being fully utilised “ does that mean I don’t have enough memory in my system configuration or that Upstox isn’t efficient yet for devices with similar config as mine ?

And also about the update on TV charts by December end, is there a work done to address similar issue that I’m facing as well ?!

TIA

We once again request you to wait until we release an improvement. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply @Ushnota

I’ll wait for the release and update here on my experience with the issue.

Hope it gets cleared :crossed_fingers:
