The first 45 minute candle of Bank nifty on 12 april 2024 is completely different on upstox compared to zerodha and other brokers. Why?
How can we trade if the charts are so off?

Hi @Kislay,
Thanks for raising this. Rest assured, we are getting it checked internally.
Appreciate your patience in the meanwhile.
Hi @vishalchawda,
Do we have an update?
Thanks.
Hey @Kislay ,
Our team is working on this, please allow us some time. We appreciate your patience in the meantime.
Hi @Kislay,
We acknowledge the concern which youâve raised.
We have actively got this fixed and going forward, youâll notice accurate Open Prices.
Itâs worth noting that each broker samples Index data differently, causing minor discrepancies. Therefore, direct comparisons may not be entirely accurate.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi @vishalchawda ,
Thanks for the update.
What caused the discrepancy, and what was done to mitigate the issue?
Will the historical data provided by upstox be also affected by this change?
Thanks

Thanks
Hi @Kislay,
Itâs not really an issue though. We display prices from 9:15 am to 3:30 pm, forming intraday candles. Other brokers adjust trades at 9:07 am to the 9:15 am opening price and hence the difference in opening candle. We have also incorporated this changes.
Historical data provided by Upstox wonât be affected by this change, as itâs based on our methodology of forming intraday candles. NSE doesnât provide intraday candles, so comparisons with their daily candles arenât feasible. Intraday data remains available until contract expiry or 6 months, ensuring ongoing accuracy.
