Could you kindly clarify the actual timings for unpledging shares in Upstox? According to the help center, unpledge requests are processed by 8:00 AM on the same trading day, and shares will be available before trading starts. What Is the the accurate timing?

It is the accurate timing. Unpledge requests are processed the next trading day at 8 AM and are available before the trading starts. You can expect the shares to get unpledged mostly before 8:30 AM. Hope that answers your query.
It is showing insufficient margin. Do I need to pay anything regardless of transaction fees of Rs 20
It is possible that you have used the margin for certain trades. When you unpledge securities, securities are released to you and the margin is taken back. It could be the case that you don’t have sufficient margin for the quantity of securities that you have asked to unpledge.
