Unfair AMC Charges Deducted Despite Lifetime Free Account Promise

I had opened my Upstox account in 2021 under the clear promise of lifetime free AMC. Despite this, ₹300 + GST has now been deducted from my account as AMC charges. This is completely misleading and a breach of the commitment made to customers at the time of onboarding.

When an account is marketed as “no AMC charges for lifetime,” customers should not be forced to pay hidden charges after a few years. Such practices break trust and create unnecessary financial burden on loyal users.

I have already raised this issue under Ticket ID: 9532063, but I have not received a proper resolution yet. I request you to immediately reverse the charges and confirm that my account will remain AMC-free as promised during account opening in 2021.

If this issue is not resolved quickly, I will close all Upstox accounts in my family.

Same issue with me and till now it has not been resolved by Upstox despite highlighting the issue @Ushnota

I know nothing will come out of this. They won’t resolve any issues. Whoever you’re tagging is also just an employee, simply following orders from their seniors.

So, I don’t think we should waste much time here. It’s better to just pay the ₹350+ and close the account. That seems like the best option for now.
