I am almost on the verge of changing my broker from Upstox. It has been noted on community pages that you had mentioned Upstox would allow margin pledge for GSECs since more than a year. But a year later there has been no update to that since. Any communication on that front would be highly appreciated and would help me decide. Please respond with clarity.

Currently, GSECs are not offered and we will notify all users if and when they are added for pledging. However, there are more than 6000+ mutual funds, ETFs and stocks available to pledge that you can check out. Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks for the prompt response. There has been a noticeable change in lingo. One year back it was you who said it was coming very soon. Today you’re saying “if and when….”.
Upstox not only on its communities but has said this also elsewhere like Reddit, that it was coming very soon. I waited patiently but, one year is a long time now.
