Order rejected with status "market closed"

I am trying to place via API a buy order for stock WOCKPHARMA but the order gets rejected with status message:

“The market is closed. Kindly place this order during market hours.”

What is the reason and how to solve this?

@atulrgb The order was rejected because the instrument is under surveillance measures. It might be blocked by the exchange. Below is the error message received from the exchange:

16387 : Security is not allowed to trade in this market

Thanks, however the same can be purchased from your web frontend.

Why cant I buy via API if I can buy via UI?

Hello @Ushnota. Is automated trading allowed? Lets say ive an entry condition. If satisfied, can the algo automatically execute the trade?

Yes, but you need to pass in an access token with it, which you have to re-generate every day.
