Error in taking order from tradetron algo api

I am not able to place any market order using tradetron algo software api. I am getting market order not allowed error.
Please help me on this.

@Ushnota Still waiting for response, its being whole day passed but one simple connectivity issue still persist. If its not resolve by today then tomorrow also i wonā€™t be able to take any position. Please take this request on priority and fix my issue.

@SHRAWAN_37351039 Could you please confirm the instrument for which youā€™re placing the order?
Kindly note that market orders are not permitted on stock options as per exchange regulations, and are therefore blocked.

Hi @Anand_Sajankar : I am using NSE F&O stock option and placing market order using tradetron Algo. As per my understanding. if market orders are not allowed in stock options as per NSE rule, none of the brokers will be able to place market orders in stock options but I know other brokers are placing market orders successfully in stock options via Tradetron Algo.

@Anand_Sajankar Reminder to update on my above query. Also is there any workaround in upstox to take F&O Stock options via Tradetron Algo.

Hi @SHRAWAN_37351039 Market orders are currently restricted for F&O stock options across all Upstox platforms. Weā€™ve shared this feedback with the relevant team ā€” thank you for your feedback.

As an alternative, you can place a limit order with a small buffer using MPP (Maximum Price Protection).
For example, if the LTP is 100, you may place a limit order at 101 to increase the chances of execution.
