[Critical] Business Uplink API: EDIS flow not triggering for Delivery Sell orders

Hi Upstox Team,

We are currently integrating Upstox Business Uplink for our multi-client platform.
As per the UpLink Business documentation (CDSL Auth section), the EDIS authorization workflow is supposed to be handled internally by the UpLink UI with “no integration needed from client.” However, in our testing, the EDIS prompt is not appearing when users attempt a delivery sell. The flow proceeds to order placement and fails due to lack of authorization, instead of redirecting the user to the TPIN/OTP verification page.

I have been following up via email for 60 days without a technical resolution. Could an engineer from the Uplink team help to resolve this issue?

Hi @GAURAV_42826600
The EDIS flow is not initiated via Upstox Business for multi-client platforms.

To sell holdings, users must manually authorize their holdings through the Upstox app before placing sell orders.

Thanks!

I am a little confused. When you say ‘EDIS flow is not initiated via Upstox Business,’ what exactly does that mean?

I am currently following the steps mentioned in this URL: CDSL Auth | Upstox Developer API

Could you please confirm if I am on the right path? The information you shared seems to conflict with what is mentioned in the Upstox Business documentation.
