I have repeatedly inform your call center about this .
Many times if stock is the list of allowed scrips are not available for margin. So if we buy stocks referring to this list n it doesnt allowed for margin , who is at fault ?
Latest example is Mangalore Chemicals & Fertiliz . Its in list so i bought n now cant get margin for it. This is a shabby approach guys

We are taking your comment as a feedback and are adding a new column in the downloadable list of eligible scrips for margin pledge to suggest if the stock if available for further pledging or not.
We do have a mechanism on the margin pledge portal to inform users if a scrip is blocked for further pledging by exchange or not however we do note the need to have an indicator in the downloadable list as well.
Also, we had been working on a completely new user friendly list which will be rolling out in the next quarter.

We are pleased to inform you that we have worked on your feedback and have deployed a fix to give additional info on if the broker limit has been reached for a certain scrips mentioned in the downloadable csv file of eligible scrips for margin pledge.

Additionally, if a scrip is blocked for pledging, we are also giving information about this on the margin pledge portal itself for the convenience of the user.
