As I have seen in the report section That there is one tab for the Us Stox market ledger so is that we are going to trade in us market via upstox if yes so can you please brief me about that Features and circumstances
This feature is slated to go live soon and currently itâs in the beta version. Once it rolls out, you can go to the US Stocks section in the Upstox app, complete the KYC and add funds. The US stock market will follow regular trading hours from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time (ET), Monday to Friday. In Indian Standard Time (IST), this translates to 7:00 PM to 1:30 AM IST â during Standard Time (November to March) and 6:00 PM to 12:30 AM IST â during Daylight Saving Time (March to November).
Hereâs how order placement is gonna work:
- Market Orders: Can be placed only during market hours, and get executed instantly at the current price.
- Limit Orders: Can be placed anytime â 24x5, even outside market hours. These stay active and will execute automatically when your price conditions are met during market hours.
You can sell your US stocks anytime during regular US market hours: 7:00 PM to 1:30 AM IST (Standard Time: NovâMar) and 6:00 PM to 12:30 AM IST (Daylight Saving: MarâNov). Once you sell, the proceeds in USD will be credited to your Upstox US wallet on a T+1 basis, i.e., one trading day after the sale.
Let me know if you want to know anything more.
@Ushnota when I click on âUS Stocks reportâ section, I donât see any section for KYC, can you please guide in some more detail, or better can we have a video?
@sameer_siddiqui - Itâs in the beta version right now. Once this feature rolls out for all the users, youâd be able to see the KYC section and start investing in the US markets. Stay tuned!
how to add funds in that ?
is there will be different wallet?
what will be tat for adding funds and of withdraw also ?
@Siddhant_48224323 - Youâd be able to add funds digitally through Axis Bank (and with HDFC & ICICI coming soon). The INR amount will converted to USD and transferred to your US wallet. The fund transfer process can take up to 2 business days as all banks are mandated to perform certain checks by RBI before authorising the fund transfer to US brokers under FEMA and LRS guidelines.
To withdraw funds, you can go to the US Stocks section and tap on Funds > Withdraw. Once you enter the amount and confirm, your USD balance will be converted to INR and transferred to your linked Indian bank account via international wire transfer. This process will typically take 1-3 business days to complete.
Thanks for your valuable support
