After a successful first year of our revamped API platform, we have an important update to share.
Starting 31 August 2024, we will no longer offer zero-brokerage API trades. However, new Upstox API users from 1 September 2024 will be eligible for 90 days of zero brokerage. We hope this 90-day period will help you get comfortable with the Upstox API ecosystem. Usage of trading and data APIs would still continue to remain free.
Also, existing users who have created their first Upstox API app after 1 June 2024 will be eligible for zero brokerage until their 90-day period is complete.
We have a new set of task-specific APIs coming soon to make your execution easier and more efficient.

Upstox API is still not working as we want as user we want free API until api runs smooth there are many terms pending in api.
Today i am facing issue of how i can sell/ execute open order there is not any proper guidance from upstox team.
we are unable to connect the senxex orders its always showing error it was showing wrong instrument key, there is no key for nifty midcap overall the api is incomplte i dont know why u guys are keen in taking brokerage , still the platformis not at all compatible with several libraries no proper customer care

We support placing Sensex orders through our API. Could you please provide the cURL request that resulted in an error? Additionally, kindly share the specific error you encountered while placing the Sensex orders.
