:star: RBI keeps repo rate unchanged
The RBI monetary policy committee kept the repo rate unchanged at 6.5%. This was in line with street expectations and markets reacted positively. RBI also noted that the inflation rate eased from its 15-month high of 7.44% in July to 6.83% in August this year.

Shares of the NBFC rose 2% intraday. The company announced that it is planning to raise ₹10,000 crore through a combination of qualified institutional placement (QIP) and preferential issue.

Shares of the aluminium manufacturer rose 1% intraday. This came after it signed an MoU worth ₹8,000 crore with the Odisha Mining Corporation for bauxite ore. It will produce 2 million tonnes of alumina and 150 MW of power.

Shares of the solar and hybrid power generator rose 3% intraday after the company and its subsidiary bagged new orders worth 12.10 MW for solar power projects.
