Iam using algotest.in to place orders via API. It used to work well until last week. Iam getting error while squaring off positions. I use 1.26 lakh capital to execute option strategy. Actually it requires 1.1lakh capital. Earlier also I use to trade like this. But there were no errors while exiting (Squaringoff) the trades.
I have 2 legs in my strategy. 1 buy and 1 sell. While entering I use the delay option provided by algotest to delay the sell leg by 3sec.
Now it is closing the buy leg and leaves the sell leg by showing the margin shortfall error. The image is attached below.
Why would there be a problem while squaring off when there is no problem with entry? I have contacted the support team on algotest and they are saying that the problem is with the broker.
Is there anything that I could change in the exit settings? I have attached the execution settings that I have used in the next post as new member has limit to post the media.
I have also tested the exit setting by placing them both as market orders. even then I had the same problem.
Kindly help me how to close the sell leg first and then close the buy leg.
