What’s a settlement holiday?
Settlement holidays are when markets are open, but settlement of your trades does not take place as per the usual T+1 cycle because either the depositaries (NSDL and CDSL) or the banks are closed on that day.

How does this holiday impact your trades?
Since the settlement date denotes the final transfer of ownership of shares and not the day you made the trade, a holiday in between causes a delay in the final transfer of shares.

If I will do withdraw funds which was unused amount on today evening, tomorrow will credit into my account?

I placed a withdrawal request today morning at 11 am ..when will I get the money ?

Hi @SHRINATH_1828331,

We have an 8 AM to 8AM cycle. So, withdrawal placed after 8 AM (11 AM in your case), will be processed on the next working day at 8AM. The same will be credited to your account maximum by 3PM (of trading day).

Since both 5th Sept and 8th Sept are Settlement Holidays, you will get the credit by 3PM on Tuesday.

Prove me wrong of if you can do it

Actually in my account there is some unsettled amount reflecting so m confused whether that amount will be credited on 10th or not because have done the average for one share.

How can I put my sell order which also remain for the next trading day if not sold on the same day?

@KARSHAN_26471461 - Settlement is done by clearing houses and not by any of the member brokers individually. In case you want further clarity kindly DM us your details and we can get an expert to explain this to you.

@ASHISH_24164304 - You can place a GTT order for the same.

@SHIVAM_30076704 - To check your case in detail, please DM us your UCC so we can review and share a clear update with you.
