Never get auto squared off again: A quick 'How To' Guide

In our previous post we introduced the Square Off Timer, a feature designed to help traders avoid unnecessary auto square-off charges by sending timely reminders before market close.

Now, let’s dive into how to use it. This guide will walk you through the feature step by step, so you can stay in control of your intraday trades with ease. Let’s get started!

Where do you find this feature?
At the positions tab - This feature is available to all users who take intraday positions and do not square off 15 mins before their auto-square off time. You will see a timer icon besides the intraday position in the position tab.

On normal trading days:
For equity intraday the timer will show up at 3:00 PM
For derivatives the timer will show up at 3:05 PM

During special trading sessions the timer will show up 15 mins prior to the auto square off timing decided for the session.

How do you use this feature?
This feature will be available for every trader who does not square off their intraday positions 15 mins prior to the auto square off time.

When can this feature be useful?
This feature is useful for traders who take multiple positions specially with a mix of intraday and delivery orders. The feature will highlight the exact intraday positions that are open and which are nearing the auto square of timing.
