This is a basic Q, when I land in https://pro.upstox.com/ it always redirects to holdings or trading-charts page, that is fine .. But where do I have a search option to search for the stock names ? A minimal UX and being a web dev I’m finding difficult to find it on the page (attached).
Am I being dumb here or it is what it is I’m not sure, thanks for any help

Bro you can start typing name of symbol or option while you are on chart to search or you can click on search symbol located below Charts Tab title.
This I know bro, now after landing here, how to add alerts ?

Click on symbol info option there you will find option to add alerts.
Feature wise upstox is tooooo behind than their competitors but I have marked that Upstox app is not having glitches like their competitors, their chart accuracy is best of all. Drawback is that Upstox team is tooooo slow to reply and fix the issues.

.. Some basic features need serious UX changes .. Prioritization of these can make Upstox for sure a leader amongst all others.

We are working on it to bring Search Box upfront, instead of depending on “+” to Search & Add. This will be rolled out in coming month soon.
I hope that it will be fixed within a year as my old mentioned bugs are still being worked since one year…
@Jagdish_j_ptl This will be rolled out next month. Any UX or behavior change must be thoroughly evaluated to consider the impact on the majority of users. Sudden changes can disrupt users’ existing behavior and require additional training, so we carefully analyze the pros and cons from all user perspectives before implementing any updates.
I know about that but there are some bugs in backend code that can be fixed within max 1 hour with tests which are pending since August 2024, Even I’ve shown you on google meet and also sent you video.
