I am unable to get the which Instrument Key is correct for the MCX.
I tried downloading MCX.json but GOLD it self is repeated with diff names multiple times. SO i am bit confused.

I had posted a technically same message regarding the standardization of derivatives names with that of the respective exchange.
NIFTY50 index has been termed as NIFTY (that is technically incorrect) in the complete.json. This situation is more confusing in MCX.
Its for this reason I requested for complete list of INDEX names to be listed in the Appendix for easy reference.
Since the API is using ISIN for equity symbols, its easy to comprehend and implement. But, for INDEX names, since UPSTOX API does not follow the exchange christened names, that confuses implementation.

I find a pattern, if any information is requested of F&O segment, I am out of luckā¦ absolutely stone silence in reply. Its frustratingā¦We have to figure it on our ownā¦
