Hello Upstox API Team,
I have an active Upstox account with MCX segment enabled.
I am currently not placing trades, but I am building a Python-based system to fetch MCX GOLD market data using Upstox APIs.
I would like clarification on the following points:
- Does Upstox provide MCX market data (LTP / market depth) via APIs?
- If yes, is MCX data access free for Upstox account holders, or is any paid subscription required?
- Is active trading mandatory to receive MCX live data through the API?
- If MCX data is restricted, what is the officially supported way to access it via Upstox?
Current behavior:
- API authentication works successfully
- Market quote API returns status=success but data is empty for MCX instruments
