Historical data for legacy stocks

Hi,

When I try symbol like merged entities like HDFC i do not get any data back from historical api. How do we get data for merged or stopped stocks like HDFC?

We do not support historical data for delisted stocks. I will relay this to the concerned team.

Thanks. Any historical indices based back testing needs stocks at a particular time in the past. It is unfortunate that many apis in the market does not support it! It will be great if upstox could provide it!
