Clarification Required – Whether My Demat Account Is Regular or BSDA & Applicable AMC

Dear Upstox Support Team,

I am writing to seek clarification regarding the type of Demat account currently mapped to my Upstox account.

I am unsure whether my account is registered as a Regular Demat Account or a Basic Services Demat Account (BSDA). I request you to kindly confirm:

  1. The current status/type of my Demat account (Regular or BSDA)

  2. The total value of holdings considered for AMC calculation

  3. The Annual/Quarterly Maintenance Charges (AMC) currently applicable to my account

  4. Whether my account has been migrated to the new BSDA guidelines effective from 1st September 2024

Additionally, if my account is eligible for BSDA, I request you to confirm whether the correct AMC slab is being applied as per the revised SEBI norms.

Kindly provide this clarification at the earliest to avoid any incorrect charges in the future.
