Under the terms of my free AMC plan for life, I created an Upstox account. All of sudden, I see a −₹354 charge in my account, which support says is AMC as per the revised pricing from Feb 2025.
I intended to ride Upstox’s growth wave as a long-term investment. It seems unfair that this modification was implemented without clear opt-in or extensive notification.
Has anyone had a chance to look over this and explain why older accounts like mine had lifetime AMC revoked?
Otherwise, i need to transfer my holding to other brokerage.

requesting you to please reverse these AMC charges atleast for first year and please from next time provide clear communication regarding AMC charges
