Can I pledge stock to trade in MCX?

I want to Pledge my SILVERBEES ETF on NSE/BSE
and sell a SILVEM Call on MCX.

Do they allow this margin to be used? Or for commodities, I only need to use cash.

It is not allowed to use margin in MCX yet. However, this feature is coming soon. So, stay tuned!

Soon means when exactly, which year and quarter? It would be helpful to know.

Please note that it’s slated to be released in a phased manner and all Upstox users would be able to use collateral margin for commodities within the next 2 weeks. Hope this helps with your query, thanks.
