Thanks @Samit for explanation.
Can you please explain this buffer range with example in both case for BUY ABOVE and BUY Below? What will be the buffer range and same for SELL BELOW and SELL ABOVE.
I have used GTT order for Option buying where it has never executed on SL. price went below SL but order still waiting to came back to touch it.
And I think Nifty options has enough liquidity to fill order at every 0.5 price. And MPP for options is 4% for 50-200. so If I have bought at any option at 80 and put SL to 75 then as per my understanding SL range will be 75-72. but price goes down to 74 then moves between 74-72 and then it fells to 65 but your GTT order never close position on specified SL range. It waits until price come again to 75 for exit.
@MohitGolecha I want to request you to add one feature ASAP which I had requested to @Sachin_Khodpia in August 2025 I guess.
Yesterday due to some issue in my API after buying option SL order was placed at 0.05 which was out of my screen’s view and due to which I was not able to exit my order on profit. I was keep seeing you need additional margin to sell order. I had already faced this earlier so I have requested option to cancel existing order before placing new order in user settings. So that if user want to place new sell order then existing sell order on current scrip will be cancelled and then new order will place. This feature is already available in AngelOne broker this helped me a lot during trading at AngelOne. This will make exiting order seamless where we have already placed SL at below but If price started moving with big candles and I want to exit at specific target then I do not have to cancel SL order and place Target order. I can directly place Target order and SL will cancel auto and vice versa.
