Add feature to explicitly disable Margin Account

There is an old response to this topic in a partial manner.

What we are all suggesting is for you to add an explicit feature to disable margin account which requires again OTP to enable.
This is a safety option that MUST BE AVAILABLE IN THE ACCOUNT.

@HEMALATHA_53106443 - In case you wish to disable it, you can raise a ticket and we can manually do it for you.

I donā€™t see option to raise a ticket, I searching in your support pages. But there is no option to raise a ticket from the web interface - is there ?

Is there an option to put max percentage margin ? Like 10% of the current balance in the account or something like that ?

@HEMALATHA_53106443 - Thereā€™s no option to put any percentage. On Upstox, margin is dynamic and can be used as required, based on the userā€™s trading needs.

Please note that for regular users who are not trading in margin products like MTF, F&O or Commodities, there is no impact, interest or extra charge as long as they have sufficient cash for their investments or trades.
