I have a few questions regarding the closure of my upstox account.

  1. If I close my upstox account, will the demat account also be deleted permanently

  2. After the closure of my upstox account, will the demat account be de-linked from my PAN card.

Recently i closed my upstox account, but still the BO Id is linked with my PAN card.

To answer your questions -

  1. Yes, it will delete permanently
  2. If the account is closed, this means that it will appear in the records under the closed status. There will be no unlinking.
