Can someone explain what are these demat charges ? This is not brokerage because brokerage is calculated in the the Equity transaction

Demat charges are also known as DP charges. It is levied by CDSL on the sell side of equity delivery shares from holdings.
Irrespective of the value of the shares sold, it is Rs.18.50/- + GST (i.e. Rs. 21.83) per scrip per day. You can find more at uptx.to/DPcharges
In addition, you can access all your transaction details in the ledger report at uptx.to/ledger-report

But i think, In the app these charges should go into equity transactions category for that day (similar to the ledger report). Because here people won’t be able to identify to which transaction these charges belong
