Upstox Algotest 2x Order Fill Issue on 25th Nov

Today, on 25th Nov 2024, in the morning my algo entry order was filled for the proper quantity. But my algo sent an SL order 2x the filled quantity. I am using the Algotest platform for my algo trading.

Customer care from Algotest said that the Upstox API is sending them the signal that the 2x quantity has been filled, so that’s why the algo platform was placing the SL 2x the filled quantity.

Api executing double quantity than actually entered

Acknowledged. The issue occurred due to an infrastructure upgrade, which caused the order update to reflect double the quantity after order execution. However, the order placement was accurately processed for the requested quantity. The discrepancy was limited to the order history API showing the incorrect quantity. The root cause has been identified, and a fix is underway. Normal functionality is expected to be restored by tomorrow.
