:star: Hindustan Aeronautics shares gain 5% on securing ₹26,000 crore order for Su-30 MKI aircraft engines
The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) on Monday approved a proposal to procure 240 aero-engines (AL-31FP) for the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Su-30 MKI aircraft from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) under the Buy (Indian) category. The engines will be procured for more than ₹26,000 crore, inclusive of all taxes and duties. Shares of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) surged 5% to hit an intraday high of ₹4,925 apiece on the NSE on Tuesday, September 3, after the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) approved the procurement of 240 AL-31FP engines for the Su-30 MKI aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) from HAL. TVS Motor Company has recorded monthly sales of 3,91,588 units in August 2024 with a growth of 13% as against 3,45,848 units in the month of August 2023. Total two-wheelers registered a growth of 14% with sales increasing from 3,32,110 units in August 2023 to 3,78,841 units in August 2024. Domestic two-wheelers registered growth of 13% with sales increasing from 2,56,619 units in August 2023 to 2,89,073 units in August 2024. :star: Jio Financial Services surges 7% as firm to launch home loan product soon
Shares of Jio Financial Services, the financial services arm of oil-to-telecom conglomerate Reliance Industries (RIL), jumped 7% on Monday, September 2, after the company said on Friday it was in the advanced stages of launching home loans, which have been rolled out in Beta mode.The stock ended at ₹344.65, up 7.12% on the BSE. Apart from home loans, the company is going to roll out other products like loans against property and loans on securities. Read more
