:star: Vedanta board to meet on Sept 02 to consider third interim dividend
Vedanta said on Wednesday that its board is scheduled to meet on Sept. 02 to consider and approve the third interim dividend on equity shares for the fiscal year 2024-25. The record date for the purpose of determining the entitlement of the equity shareholders for the dividend has been fixed as Sept. 10, the firm said. Shares of Vedanta were trading 0.25% higher on Thursday morning, following the announcement. Prior to this, Vedanta had announced interim dividends of ₹4 per share and ₹11 per share. Read more

Shares of One 97 Communications, the parent entity of Paytm, rose on Thursday, August 29, a day after the government allowed the company to invest in its payment services arm. The stock opened in the green at ₹559 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), and shortly after the opening bell, it peaked to ₹564.8. This was up 4.9% as against the last closing price. Shares of KEC International Ltd surged 7% to hit an intraday high of ₹929 apiece on the NSE on Thursday, August 29. The stock surged after the company announced that it has bagged orders worth ₹1,171 crore. KEC International informed the exchanges in a filing on August 28 that it has secured new orders in its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business. The company has bagged an order for constructing a 400 kV transmission line in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and a 380 kV Transmission line in Saudi Arabia. Read more
