:star: Infosys collaborates with LIC to accelerate digital transformation
Infosys, India’s second-largest IT services company, on Monday, September 16, announced its collaboration with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), the largest life insurance company in India, to spearhead its digital transformation initiative called DIVE (Digital Innovation and Value Enhancement). As part of the collaboration, Infosys will enable the creation of a cutting-edge NextGen Digital Platform, which will focus on delivering seamless omnichannel engagement and data-driven hyper-personalised experiences to LIC’s customers, agents, and employees. :star: Edelweiss share jumps 4%, nearly doubles in little over a month
Shares of Edelweiss Financial Services rose as much as 10% in trade today before giving up some gains to trade 4% higher. Media reports said the stock was up after a block deal that saw 27.5 lakh shares change hands. The company recently declared a dividend of 150% on its face value, or around ₹1.5 per share. As a result, investors rushed to buy the shares before the ex-dividend date. Shares of Dixon Technologies (India) jumped as much as 6.34% to hit a record high of ₹13,848.10 apiece on the BSE on Monday, September 16, after the company on Saturday announced that Padget Electronics, a wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Asus India for the manufacturing of information technology products, i.e., notebooks. Established in 1989, Asus is a multinational company known for the world’s best motherboards and high-quality personal computers, monitors, graphics cards, servers, routers, smartphones, optical storage, multimedia products, peripherals, wearables, and other technology solutions.
