REC Limited joins hands with UNISED to support education of children in Siddharthnagar
REC Limited, a leading Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) under the Ministry of Power, has partnered with the Unit of Science and Educational Development (UNISED) to support the education of around 75,500 children of Siddharthnagar district in Uttar Pradesh. REC has entered into this partnership through its Corporate Social Responsibility arm REC Foundation. REC has committed a financial assistance of Rs. 9.91 crores towards this noble cause.
MOIL gains second consecutive day
Shares of PSU manganese ore manufacturer rose over 9% intraday. This comes after the company recorded its best-ever production figures at 1.5 lakh tonnes of manganese ore, up 15% YoY. The total production for the April-February period stood at 15.8 lakh tonnes, up 37% YoY. MOIL’s share price is up by 5% at ₹294 per share.
