JSW Energy gains on profit surge
Shares of the power producing company rose 3.5% intraday after the company reported a 83% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its net profit to ₹856 crore in Q2 FY24. The company also reported the highest-ever quarterly EBITDA in this quarter.
BSE hits 52-week high on fee hike
Shares of the stock exchange rose by 12.7% intraday, after it announced a hike in transaction fees for the equity derivatives segment from November 1. The fee revision only affects the S&P BSE Sensex options contracts, while the other equity derivatives contracts remain unchanged.
