:star: Sona BLW Precision gains after auto PLI certification
Shares of Sona BLW Precision Forgings rose more than 3% today, with a day high of ₹642.8 per share. This rise comes after the company became the first automotive component manufacturer to receive certification under the Auto Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. The company has received this PLI certificate for the traction motor for electric two-wheelers. In 2021, the government introduced the auto PLI scheme to incentivise the domestic production of high-value advanced automotive technology vehicles and products. The PLI scheme for the auto and auto component sector has a budgetary outlay of ₹259 billion over five years, starting from FY 2023-24.
