Ashok Leyland shares gained 1.7% intraday after unveiling cutting-edge H6 stage V diesel engines. As per the company, the H6 engines are renowned for their lowest total cost of ownership. The company also showcased other innovative products, including the H6 hydrogen engine, DEF TANK, A6 diesel engine. Meanwhile, the company’s shares are up over 121% on a year-to-date basis.

:star: Force Motors gains on new acquisition
Shares of the commercial vehicle maker rose 2.6% in the morning trade. This was after the company acquired 12.21% shares in TP Surya Limited, a wholly-owned Tata Power Renewable Energy subsidiary. This acquisition will help the company procure solar power from the solar plant established by TP Surya Limited.

:star: HPL Electric hits upper circuit on order win
Shares of the electrical equipment manufacturer hit a 10% upper circuit today after the company received a new order worth ₹545 crore from various customers to supply smart metres. Meanwhile, the company’s shares are up over 21% on a year-to-date basis.
