Divergence in different Time frames.

For instance, a script shows RSI Divergence in weekly time frame, the same script on daily time frame may not show the RSI Divergence. Any comment on this ?

A scrip can show divergence in a particular time frame and at the same time may or may not show a similar divergence in another time frame. This is perfectly normal occurance.

The overall logic is that higher time frame signals carry more weightage as they take longer to form and hence carry a lot of data in them. So their significance is always higher.

Having said that, The key is to focus on the time frame we are trading/investing. Suppose we are swing traders, then focus on weekly time frame. If we are an intraday trader, then focusing on say a 15 minute or an hourly/75 minute time frame chart is more relevant to us.

While making trend line on monthly timeframe, should i use regular chart or log chart?

Ideally use both to get deeper understanding of the behaviour of the underlying. Some indicators like Linear Regression Channel is not supported by Log Charts and hence may give false reading. So create two templates on Pro.Upstox to quickly make informed decisions.
