Request: Enable Market Data Feed V3 - Read Scope for App UPSTOXLiveMonitor

Hello Upstox Team,

I am developing an application to stream live market data using the Upstox API V3 WebSocket. My app setup is complete and all credentials are verified, but I am unable to access the market data feed due to missing permissions.

App Details:

  • App Name: UPSTOXLiveMonitor
  • Client ID: e8f90080-0cb9-476e-a56b-746b6ca6abc3
  • Instruments: Gold Futures (MCX_FO|GOLDGULD25DECFUT) and Nifty Futures (NSE_FO|NIFTY25NOVFUT)

Issue:
When attempting to connect to the WebSocket endpoint (wss://api.upstox.com/v3/feed/market-data-feed), I consistently receive an HTTP 401 Unauthorized error, indicating that the access token lacks the required “Market Data Feed V3 - Read” scope.

Request:
Please enable the “Market Data Feed V3 - Read” scope for my app so I can access real-time market data.

No additional access is required to connect to the Market Data WebSocket — all users already have access to it.

It’s likely that your access token has expired, as tokens are valid only until 3:30 AM and become invalid after that.
Please re-generate your access token and try again.
