Portfolio Sector Allocation View in Upstox

I currently hold 50+ stocks in my portfolio, and it is becoming difficult to manage them. When I want to buy stocks from a particular sector, it is hard to check which sector stocks I already own.

It would be very helpful if Upstox could provide a portfolio summary showing sector-wise allocation, maybe in the form of a bar chart or percentage breakdown. This would allow users to quickly understand how their investments are distributed across sectors and make better decisions when adding new stocks.

This feature would make portfolio management much easier for investors who hold many stocks

@Dhanan_2808 For the time being, you can try following example.

  • On tradingview.com, add a symbol in the watchlist NSE:SBIN+NSE:INFY (and all other stocks of a specific sector) and press enter.
  • On the top of the page, click on ā€œCompare or Add Symbolā€ and select NIFTY IT (or your sector specific index) .
  • On the right side of the chart, right click the price scale and select Indexed to 100.
  • Read here to allocate percentages to each stock.
