Order Status Stuck as "Open Pending" When Using Sandbox API

I am developing an application and using the sandbox API to place orders. The order is placed successfully, but the status remains “Open Pending” indefinitely. It never updates to a different status.

What could be the reason for this behavior? Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

The order remaining in the open pending state is expected for now, and further integrations in sandbox mode are currently in progress.
