It looks like you’re trying to SELL a stock using the ‘Delivery’ product type, but please note that short selling using Delivery is not allowed on NSE/BSE.
If you’re trying to square off your MTF (Margin Trading Facility) holdings, you’ll need to do it from the MTF tab specifically. MTF and Delivery are treated as two separate product types, and positions under one cannot be squared off using the other.

Here you are Selling a stock under Regular tab (and not MTF). Also, you have selected “Delivery”. Please go to MTF tab and from their square it off
I am exiting it from chart not from regular tab. I want to exit partial quantity with limit price. Is it possible to do it from there?
I want to do it from chart. If position is showing on chart then it must be closed from chart also.
Can I square off partial quantity in MTF? If not then add “MTF” product on regular form also to exit partial quantity.
I’ve checked it. From positions tab I can exit MTF positions partially. But in chart there is no option.
My suggestion is when there is any open MTF position available then on chart when user clicks on sell button please close it from MTF by default. And on chart order form add MTF panel also. There is only two panels visible one is for regular order and another one is for GTT orders.
