No response for the version 3 APIs

Since 29.09.2025, I have noticed that the v3 APIs with the hostname api.upstox.com are showing inconsistent response times. While they usually respond on time, there are several instances where responses are delayed — sometimes taking 5 seconds, 30 seconds, or even several minutes. In some cases, the APIs fail to return any response at all.

Examples of affected v3 API endpoints include:

  • https://api.upstox.com/v3/historical-candle/:instrument_key/:unit/:interval/:to_date/:from_date

  • https://api.upstox.com/v3/historical-candle/intraday/:instrument_key/:unit/:interval

  • https://api.upstox.com/v3/market-quote/ltp

Hi @Maneesh_Chowla, This shouldn’t be happening — you might be requesting a large date range for historical candles API or too many instrument keys in LTP API.
