Index constituents data information needed

Hi Upstox Dev Team, I need index constituents data (Nifty 50, and all other indices ) via API. Could you please share the endpoint details, data format, update frequency, and any limitations? Thanks!

Hi @Lalit,

Currently, we do not have an API that provides the constituents of an index. However, you can refer to the instrument JSON file, which contains a list of all available instrument keys:

Hi,

You can download the list of constituents for various indices in CSV format from the NSE Indices website. Below are the URLs for some commonly used indices:

Nifty 50: https://www.niftyindices.com/IndexConstituent/ind_nifty50list.csv
Nifty Midcap 100: https://www.niftyindices.com/IndexConstituent/ind_niftymidcap100list.csv

For other indices, you can visit the Nifty Indices website to find the respective download links.
