How did you react to today's market crash? Share your strategy with us!

Guys, it’s time for some #CommunityDiscussion!

Today’s market crash has hit everyone hard.

Sensex crashed 3,300 pts and Nifty went below 22,000, marking the worst market opening since the COVID-19 pandemic. This also marked the sharpest single-day fall since June 4, 2024 (Lok Sabha election results day), when the indices had plunged more than 8%.

Nifty IT and Metal were the worst hit sectors today. Global tensions, a looming trade war, tariff hikes by the US and recession concerns have sent investors into panic mode.

But here’s what we want to know from you: :backhand_index_pointing_down:

  • How do you stay calm on days like this?
  • Do you look for buying opportunities or sit it out?
  • Did you sell, hold, or buy the dip today?
  • Are you tracking any particular sector or stock to make a move?

Let’s hear your strategy because we’ve all been there. And maybe, someone reading your comment today will find it just a little easier to hold tight.

Drop your thoughts below. Let’s talk, learn & support each other through the volatility. :flexed_biceps:

I used to panic sell when I had started out but over time I’ve learned to zoom out and look at the bigger picture. So, today, I didn’t sell.

I’ve been tracking Nifty IT for a while now so this correction felt like a decent entry point. Bought my favourite NIFTY 50 stocks. I also added to my SIP in Nifty BeES and Junior BeES and hope this strategy pays off in the long run.

I stayed calm and held my positions—no panic selling. I’m focused on domestic themes and waiting for a rebound once the market stabilizes.
