Whats your view on tcs as it is at a strong support having major losses in august series looking for a rebound in august series would sell on an uprise
TCS is at a good support; plus the markets are in a broad trading range that they have created since mid-May this year. Taking a broader look, the markets are likely to remain range-bound, and a structural violation will only occur if the 24500 level is breached.
Coming to the Nifty IT universe in general and TCS in particular, I think we can expect some rebound once the ongoing uncertainties are out of the way. Let the expiry be over, let trade deal uncertainty go away, let the Fed be out of the way, and perhaps the month of August will give us a clearer picture. I expect the IT space to perform relatively better and improve its relative performance against the broader markets.
Thanks for your input.
Should i remain maintaining my position in tcs aug expiry rolll out as major negative is already priced in and the stock is having major supoort at this level ? I think the stock is deeply oversold.
Could the it sector from here on perform well in august series or more pain waiting?
Yes, I think so. I am of the opinion that this week is full of events; the negatives look priced in, and all the uncertainties will fade as we enter and progress into August.
In my opinion, you should not disturb your holdings and carry them well into August. As long as we stay invested in good quality scrips, all knee-jerk reactions, if any, by the markets will stay short-lived.
Hi what would be the prediction of IEX share in view of the fall in last week to 131 level which is trading at CMP 138, will it fall further or will it go upwards

Hello, Volatility Compression results in a Bollinger Band squeeze.
This is a setup where the price of a stock or asset moves in tighter and tighter ranges over time. This means that the highs and lows start getting closer, forming a kind of “triangle” or narrowing shape on the chart. It shows that the stock is getting quiet—volatility is dropping—as buyers and sellers are waiting.
When this quiet period ends, it often leads to a strong breakout—usually in the direction of the overall trend. Traders like this setup because it offers a low-risk entry near support and can lead to big, fast moves once the price breaks out of the tight range. Volume often spikes during the breakout, confirming strength.
ALWAYS WAIT FOR A PRICE MOVE CONFIRMATION. Never PREMPT or ANTICIPATE a directional bias.
