We offer two distinct offerings for the Upstox API - UpLink for Traders and UpLink for Business.

UpLink for Traders - This option is tailored for traders who wish to utilize the Upstox APIs to trade on their personal accounts. Traders can either create their own strategies and execute them through coding or seek assistance from third-party businesses to trade on their behalf using the Upstox account. UpLink for Business - This option is designed for businesses and organizations, including platforms like SmallCase and Sensibull, who have multiple Upstox users. They can use the Upstox APIs to facilitate their users in placing orders from their Upstox accounts and access other relevant information. Anyone can apply for the UpLink Business APIs. If you intend to create an app, having an Upstox account is a must as the API credentials are mapped to the UCC (Unique Client Code) of the Upstox user. The app creation process is quick, taking approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute, and there are no charges involved.

@AbhishekRathore for using UpLink for Business do we need to register as a Business with UpStox?

Hi @Vijit_Mathur For using the Uplink for Business API, having a business/corporate account with Upstox is recommended but not mandatory.

@AbhishekRathore We’ve applied for the UpLink for Bussiness multiple times, but haven’t received any update from the Upstox team.
