Algoverse me Supertrend (7:3) based Buy & Sell Strategy create karne ke liye assistance required

Hello Algoverse Team,

I need assistance in creating a simple Supertrend-based strategy on the Algoverse platform.

Strategy Requirement:

• Indicator: Supertrend (7,3)

• Entry Condition (Buy): When Supertrend gives buy signal and signal candle high breaks, then enter buy trade.

• Entry Condition (Sell): When Supertrend gives sell signal and signal candle low breaks, then enter sell trade.

I want two separate algos:

Buy Strategy Algo

Sell Strategy Algo

Whenever required, I will manually activate the respective algo (Buy or Sell).

Kindly confirm whether this setup is possible in Algoverse. If possible, please guide me step-by-step on how to create and deploy it.

@PRATAP_NAG_7442535 - Here are the steps what you are looking for:

Go to Backtest page - Create your own strategy - Select the instrument (for example, Nifty).

In the Indicators section, add Supertrend and set:

  • Period - 7
  • Multiplier - 3

Then add Signal Candle and set the condition as:
Current Close - Crosses Above - Supertrend (Buy strategy)
Current Close - Crosses Below - Supertrend (Sell strategy)

Now configure the following in the Entry and Exit settings.

BUY STRATEGY:

Signal Candle Condition
Current Close - Crosses Above - Supertrend

Entry Condition
Current Close - Crosses Above - Signal Candle High

Exit Condition
Current Close - Crosses Below - Signal Candle Low

Instruments
Select instruments as per your requirement (Index / Stocks / Futures / Options).

SELL STRATEGY

For the sell setup, set the Signal Candle condition as:
Current Close - Crosses Below - Supertrend

Entry Condition
Current Close - Crosses Below - Signal Candle Low

Exit Condition
Current Close - Crosses Above - Signal Candle High

Instruments
Configure as per your trading preference.

After running the backtest, you can analyze the results, review performance metrics, and then automate the strategy if it meets your requirements.

@Srinibas_50852648 - You will need to continue to have Current candle in your indicator list. Only then you will see the option of ‘Current Close’ in the signal field.

Hello Sir,

Kya aap meri strategy direct mere Algoverse account me bana sakte ho? Agar main aapko mera UCC share karu to kya aisa possible hai, ya phir aap algo create karke mujhe uska link send kar sakte ho? Agar koi process ho to please guide karein.

Ye strategy mera full automation nahi hai. Main strategy ka kuch part manual trade karunga. Algoverse algo sirf entry aur exit execution ke liye use karna hai.

Ek aur question tha — Algoverse me kya algo ko paper trading mode me test kar sakte hain? Abhi mujhe sirf Direct Deploy option hi dikh raha hai aur ek Backtesting option hai. Mujhe backtesting nahi karna, pehle live market me paper trading se strategy check karni hai, uske baad hi real market me deploy karna hai.

Please iske regarding proper guidance de dijiye.

Mere questions:

  1. Kya Algoverse me paper trading / demo trading ka option available hai?
  2. Live deploy karne se pehle strategy entry-exit sahi le rahi hai ya nahi ye check kaise kare?
  3. Real money use karne se pehle practice ya testing karne ka proper process kya hai?

Please guide kare ki paper trading ya demo testing option kaha available hai.

Hello Team,

I am Chavda Pratap, Upstox AP.

I want to create a Supertrend indicator based algo strategy in Algoverse for Upstox.
Please create two separate algos — one for Buy side and one for Sell side in Algoverse (Upstox).

I will manually activate the required algo based on my price action setup.
When Buy setup forms, I will start Buy algo manually.
When Sell setup forms, I will start Sell algo manually.
