Its been a few months that we’ve started to focus into tv.upstox.com strongly as product that we want to serve high quality traders. Your list of missing features/elements is still short of a lot of features/capabilities that the platform should have. I’m aware.
We were heads-down working on core foundation of the platform past 3 months to set a base on which we can start building and shipping important capabilities. We’re a month away from completing this foundational rework.
I would not like to comment on any of the competitor platforms, but would agree that we lacked major juice on our tv.upstox.com platform.
Expect quick shipping and important capabilities to be added on the platform soon, now that we’re on the verge of completing the foundations.

what is done , you are talking about. As I, cant se anything has been done, and I have raised few different complaints, so plz enlighten me which complaint you are talking about to be resolved.
And if you are talking about watchlist sorting issue, I would like to know what have you done, i mean what problem you had encountered in respect to my query and what troubleshooting have you done, coz the not a 1% problem is solved, its so sad that this is major issue watchlist which is lying there since a year now, and my complaint is since almost 9 months, but there is no one who actually cares to take it seriously to resolve it. I am very much disappointed with this, coz I am giving one solution aswell , that the underlying problem started since the “Dynamic Sorting” option was introduced, so simply remove that option , as it is good for nothing and your problem gets solved.
We’ve noted your concern. This is not a bug and is unrelated to the dynamic sorting feature. The current behaviour, where the order sequence resets on page refresh, is as originally designed.
However, we will soon be updating this behaviour so that the user’s sorting preference is retained even after a refreshing of Pro Web. Thanks.
I am very much sad to read this response of your, and as i have mentioned earlier, it shows lack of dedication of solving the issue by developer.

The current behaviour, where the order sequence resets on page refresh, is as originally designed.” This statement of your has made me more concerned about our problems related to the app, and it seems it is of no use to highlight the glitch, as it takes a task for your team to understand the problem and off course need to work to solve it, so hence rather give the reply that all is well and software is designed this way only, actually made me surprised and laugh.
Come on developer team, I am user of upstox since 2016, its been 8 years now, and I am online on upstox platform for technically whole day. I have navigated through all the developments of upstox from old days of upstox classic to pro.upstox and now tv.upstox. Here I would like to mention that I know how the application was working and how it should work and what all changes or glitch has come along, so maybe you have not used or not aware of how the watchlist use to perform, and we as a user tried to give the hindsight of glitch, but your team who don’t want to put any effort into it, gave you a reason that it is designed this way and suppose to work this way only.
Apply some simple logic, why will somebody design it this way, that you sort the script in some pattern and browser refresh and it will go to random sorting… isn’t this abnormal !!!.
We’ve considered your request. Some users prefer persistence while others don’t, so we’re currently discussing internally to decide the best way to proceed. Thanks.
please don’t give such excuse, if your team is quiet reluctant to solve the glitch, I will keep on putting this complaint again and again till the time I gather the voice over here in community. As I have mentioned, I am using your service sine 8 years and I am on charts almost whole day, the watchlist was working absolutely fine and was behaving perfectly till the time the new mobile app and dynamic sorting option was introduced , since then it has started behaving weirdly which according to you is fine, since you don’t want to solve the glitch and for same have given simple explanation that it is absolutely fine, and on further disagreement you have came with more convenient reply that suits you , that many user needs this way. I am sorry but this is some kind of illogical excuse.
If you still have a problem in understanding the problem, I will mention it again as sorting option isto sort the script as per the requirement and not it moves back to random sorting if the browser is refreshed or restart.
Second glitch is , that once you sort the script in your desired pattern, the dynamic sorting option comes in window, and post that after few seconds or mins if there is any up down in the current positition of script and you want rearrange the the sorting, you press the same option, and your sorting wont happen as dynamic sorting option prevent it. You need to press the same option one more time then it will take a command and it will execute the same.
this problem was discussed last week witth @Sachin_Khodpia , and he had undertsood the glitch and was supposed to work on it. So I would appreciate that you kindly have a discussion with Sachin, he might be able to explain you.
Till then I will keep raising this issue, as it is causing the inconvenience to us, and I hope you value your clients and look forward to make the platform a smooth and happy investing and trading platform.
